NDA Pre Foundation Course for Class 9th and 10th
Our foundation courses are meticulously designed for the students of class IX and X that prepare them by laying a strong foundation for Defence, Medical, Engineering and other competitive exams including Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), Olympiad, and National Standard Examinations.
We also provide supplementary materials to the students for the preparation of the mentioned competitive exams. In addition to interactive classroom sessions by our highly qualified faculties, comprehensive study material for each subject is also provided to our students.

NDA Foundation Daily Schedule
On Weekdays
- Lights on at 5:30 followed by physical training
- 4 lectures of school curriculum ( P, C, M and E)
- 3 lectures of NDA ( MATHS, ENGLISH and GK)
- 1.5 hours for sports in the evening .
- Self study in library
- 11:15 lights off

Foundation Course Highlights
Our foundation courses offer end to end learning solutions for class IX and X students to commend 360-degree learning of the syllabus prescribed by NCERT. These courses aim to strengthen the conceptual understanding of students to help them successfully pass the most sought-after competitive and scholarship exams.
Designed for class IX students, this holistic course covers the entire syllabus of class IX and X for science, mathematics, and social sciences while emphasizing the enhanced mental ability to help students attempt and pass highly valued scholarship and competitive exams like Olympiads and NTSE through special preparatory sessions.
Our one-year integrated classroom course is an expansive coaching program for class IX students to help them master science, mathematics, and social sciences along with enhancing their mental ability skills. While delivering across the board knowledge of each subject and topic, students are also prepared to ensure their success in the Olympiad exams.
This integrated one-year classroom course for class X students imparts a better understanding of each concept of science, mathematics, and social sciences while evaluating and improving their mental ability skills. Special classes to prepare for NTSE are conducted for the students during this course.
- AGE: UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) issues a notice for NDA examination twice a year, the candidates must be between the age of 16.5 to 19.5 years to be eligible for the NDA exam.
- EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
– Educational qualification for NDA ( ARMY WING ) : 12th pass from any recognised board
– Educational qualification for NDA ( NAVY & AIRFORCE ) : 12TH pass from any recognised board with P,CM i.e physics , chemistry and maths. Students appearing in class 12th are also eligible to apply for NDA.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
As per the official notification of upsc the minimum acceptable height for ARMY is 157 cms and for airforce the minimum acceptable height is 162.5 cms. However there are various concessions that are given to candidates if they belong to a specific region.
– Candidates from Garhwal and Kumaon get a relaxation of 5 cms.
– Candidates from Lakshadweep get a concession of 2.5 cms .

- Physical Conditioning
The aspiring candidates are advised to be in the good physical condition by following the routine mentioned below.
1. Running 2.4 km in 15 minutes
2. Skipping
3. Pushups and sit ups (minimum 20 each)
4. Chin ups (minimum 08)
5. Rope climbing 3-4 metres
Students can seek admission in any of the long term courses through direct admission based on their marks or grades in the last school examination or scholarship tests like Shoorveer Scholarship Test (SST). Fee waivers of up to 90% are rewarded to the qualifying students in the form of scholarships to take admission in the courses offered at Shoorveer Defence Academy.
For short term courses, only direct admission criteria are applicable.
